Customer records, estimate records, job history, and pricing belong to the client. Sharing them for a defined piece of work transfers nothing.

Records are read for the agreed window, locations, and research question, and for the services that follow from it. Identifiable client records are used only to perform the agreed engagement and to meet related legal, security, and administrative obligations. Any broader research use requires explicit written permission from the client, or information that cannot identify the client, its customers, its locations, or its figures.

Only the people performing the engagement and the tools needed to perform it touch the records. Kopikat Research is a small firm, so in practice that is a short list.

Kopikat Research does not disclose or use a client's identifiable records, figures, or findings for another client. General methods and professional knowledge may evolve across engagements, while client-specific information remains confidential. Published research never names a client, its customers, its locations, or its figures. Every number shown publicly on this site is a constructed example for illustration only.

Access is granted by the client and can be withdrawn at any moment, without asking. Nothing is locked to Kopikat Research, no system is replaced, and ending an engagement does not turn anything off.

Working copies of records are kept only as long as the engagement requires them and are returned or deleted at the end of the engagement or earlier on request.
